Interesting Facts & Recommendations
When trying bee pollen for the first time:
We recommend that you start with a few granules under the tongue to get accustomed to it. The fastest way to absorb the benefits is to allow it to dissolve under the tongue as much as possible. Of course adding it to tea, smoothies, lattes and sprinkling it on foods (including pet food) are great alternatives. (Just be cautious when eating it directly. It is highly soluble and will absorb all of the saliva, possibly leading to choking. Small amounts at a time are recommended).
When dissolving bee pollen, be careful not to allow it to be at a consistence temperature of 118 F or higher. This will kill the essential enzymes. Just as with honey, never put bee pollen in the microwave!
